The Chiropractor To See in Santa Clara

As a child I experienced severe earaches on a yearly basis. If you have experienced this, you know the horrible pain you can be... it is a terrible thing to have to go through as a child. I was lucky enough to get this problem resolved through chiropractic care. Chiropractic care kept me from getting tubes put into my ears and I never had another earache since and its been 22 years!

I came to choose chiropractic care ultimately because my purpose is to help people live a better life naturally. I have always had a love for anatomy and physiology, basically how the body and all its pieces work together absolutely amaze me. Being a chiropractor allows me to help you and your body work together, to get healthy and stay healthy. Cut your hand, your body will heal. Remove a subluxation, your body will thrive!

I earned my B.A. degree in Physical Education at Kean University in Union, NJ. I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO. Some of you from Jersey may wonder if I sat on bails of hay during lectures and practiced my adjusting on any willing cow! I will leave you with the wonder, until we meet. With all seriousness I loved my experience at Cleveland. Although the classes were challenging, the faculty was very supportive and encouraging throughout the entire program. If asked, “would you do it all again”, my answer without hesitation would be YES! With my first patient’s success story, it had been proved that all the hard work definitely has its reward.

No matter which way you look at it muscle is attached to bone and vice versa, therefore I believe that in order to achieve the best results for my patients both systems need to be addressed. I bring everything that I have learned as a Fitness Professional into Chiropractic Care. Balanced healthy muscles is key in keeping the adjustment longer and providing long lasting relief to numerous conditions.

God is very gracious, he brought me into the world and has blessed me with an amazing family who has helped me be who I am today. Not only was I blessed with the best family, but I was also blessed with many good friends and a love, all of which I will share happiness and good times with for many years to come.

All of my life I have enjoyed being physically active. We all hit some bumps in the road and don’t take care of ourselves quite as well as we should, I too have had some struggles with keeping on the health and wellness track. As a chiropractor one of my goals is to help my patients get through those struggles and return to the activities that they love.

“Life is a journey, live it and live it well. I look forward to meeting you in person and together we can take the steps necessary toward a healthier life that encompasses all that wellness is”

Dr. Shaw Asks some important questions of interest to Santa Clara residents - Chiropractor Santa Clara Dr. Shaw Asks...

If you have a fever, are you sick or healthy?
Chiropractors love asking this question because it gets to the root of the chiropractic difference. Turns out fevers, vomiting, coughing and even sneezing are all healthy responses. It means your body is working correctly. Taking medications to suppress these natural processes can actually prolong your recovery.
Which organs are extra?
You don't have any spare parts. Sure, we can survive without our tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and several other tissues, but each serves a purpose. We chiropractors recognize this. So the chiropractic approach I use in Santa Clara is to reduce nerve interferences to the control and regulation of every tissue, organ and system of your body.
